Obituary of Rosemary A. Wagner

LeRoy ~ Rosemary Wagner, age 89, of Bradnell Avenue, passed away Thursday morning (May 15, 2014) at Highland Hospital in Rochester. Mrs. Wagner was born February 7, 1925 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late James and Mary McElroy Hurley. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish and was actively involved with many other community organizations. Mrs. Wagner is survived by her children; Ann Marie (William) Dowdle of Whitinsville, MA, Robert (Connie) Wagner of Jamestown, Susan (Peter) Weaver of LeRoy, Daniel (Carolyn) Wagner of Pittsford, Gretchen (John) Cecchini of Allentown, PA and Michael (Kristin) Wagner of Troy, IL; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Angela (Frank) O'Connor of NJ; several nieces and nephews and many treasured friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Wagner, along with 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 ~ 6 at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish (St. Peter's Church), 44 Lake St., LeRoy, with interment to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
