My sincere condolences to the Mallaber family on the loss of John, unexpectedly and way too soon. Our family met John when my daughter Erika played youth soccer on his team many years ago. She introduced herself the first day as “Erika with a K” and he called her that every time he saw her from then on. Such a sweet and wonderful man. John had a very simple approach to life- care about those you love, don't worry about the small stuff and don't take take the big stuff too seriously. I always enjoyed my conversations with John, much of which evolved around Classic Rock. I looked forward to those conversations every time I came up to Rochester. He was a gentle soul and a good man. I'll miss him. My condolences to his family and closest friends for your loss.

He was a good friend. I have many many fond memories spent with John in our youth. Although I didnt see him much as we aged, I still consider him a very good friend in life and death.
