Obituary of Marjorie S. Smith

LeRoy ~ Marjorie S. Smith, age 91, formerly of Rochester, passed away late Friday evening (December 1, 2023) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

     She was born March 22, 1932 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Ray and Esther Bardun Startup.

     Marge is survived by her children:  Sherry (Tim) West, Bruce (Jaci) Smith, Steve Smith and Michele Westfall-Owens.  Also surviving are her sister Barb (Leet) Smith, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

     Marge enjoyed spending time with family, especially her beloved grandkids, crocheting and visiting her favorite place of all, Hampton Beach.  She worked for the Brighton Police Department for many years as a secretary.

     There are no prior calling hours and a graveside service will be held on Friday, December 8 at 11:00 AM at White Haven Memorial Park.  Those attending can gather at the front gate at 10:45 AM.
