The Misiti family has suffered a great loss and I would like to express my deepest sympathy. I feel a loss of a dear friend and mentor. I have many experiences and adventures with Sam over the years. I will miss his sense of humor and friendship. I always liked kidding him about "stealing tomatoes and hot peppers out of my garden" I remember how he used to love me bringing him burdocks (gardoon) in the spring. It was very sad to watch Sam's health decline but I admired how he kept going. I will miss you ol friend but you will not be forgotten. May your soul rest in God's care I am sure he will enjoy your humor as much as we all did. Your friend, John (young blood).

To Aunt Moo, the Misiti Family and Rapone Family - my sincere condolences to all. I’m incredibly sad to hear that Uncle Sam is no longer with you all. Some of my favorite memories were hearing him tell a story and captivate everyone’s attention with its detail and context. He was a gentleman of the first order and will be missed by many.

I was heart broken to hear of Sam's passing. He was a special friend and classmate. He taught me a lot about American ways, in school, when I came from Sicily. Always there to help me out. He will be missed by those who knew him and loved him. God Bless, Jo
