Colleen and I were saddened by the news off Patrick's passing. Our deepest condolences Beth, Joe, Kate, and to your families.
The first day I met Pat (circa 1972) I wasn't sure what to make of this skinny kid with the glasses, but I was told he could paint sets, so I put him on stage crew. By the second day, I knew we were going to become great friends. His talents NEVER ceased to amaze me, nor did his ability to tell a funny story and always make me laugh.
I feel like the Patton's house (especially the garage) was my home away from home for so many years. We shared an apartment together. We worked together. And we had lots of fun together. He also honored us by being our best man at our wedding.
Miles and life tend to get in the way, and even though we did not communicate often, I always considered him my best and oldest friend. We will miss him.
