Dearest Dill Family, I am so sorry to hear this very sad news. So many fond memories come flooding back of all of us and the great times we had. I surely miss those day of seeing all you and chatting. Mr. Dills as we called him, was someone that had a smile and would warm your heart. Loved our chats and kindness. Celebrate his life. Listen to stories and you will hear some you haven't heard before and it will be those that will help mend you heart and make you laugh. You are in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest condolences. Take care. Sharon "clark" True.

Uncle Roger was my Mom's baby brother, and I was born when he was not quite 15 years old. When I was a little girl, I remember being at the farm in Pavilion, where he lived with his folks, my grandparents, and as I sat in their living room on the couch, he came running down the stairs, impeccably dressed in blue jeans with a cotton shirt tucked in, a perfect flat top haircut and a big smile on his face. I thought he was the most handsome guy in the world. He was probably on his way to get Eunice and head out on a date. What a lucky girl. Well, he turned out to be a loving husband and father along with being a sweet Uncle, who along with Eunice welcomed us into their home many times for various celebrations and meals. Eunice was a great cook! I'm sure Uncle Roger would attest to that. His family is going to miss him, just like they all miss their Mom, but I know they have a lot of wonderful memories because I have a number of them myself.

David and family - I'm sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I am happy to have met him even the brief couple of times we crossed paths. He was the kind of person you instantly felt like you'd known a long time. We sure could have talked old iron for days. Hugs to you all.

My favorite ever photo is of Teri seated between Roger and Edwin at our Grandparents 50th anniversary. I don't know what she said, but the look on both of their faces is WTF? I have not been able to find that or I would share it. We are all going to miss him.
