Susan and Family, I worked with Charlie beginning with our apprenticeship at Doehler Jarvis and then through the Kodak years. Charlie loved to laugh almost as much as he liked to make others laugh. Charlie was always one of the good guys, no matter where he was or what he was doing. I know I don't have to tell you that, you had the privilege of his company. What a great friend. We enjoyed many times with him & Sue at their place in Bushnell for campfires & Happy Hours and just in case you ran out of beer, never fear as Charlie would hand you another. Some of our best times were at Buddy's Tavern where he was known as "Afternoon Charlie." Never a dull moment at this establishment especially when Susie was added to the mix. We believe he had a wonderful life and he will not be forgotten. My favorite memory is his smile. R.I.P. Ed & Darlene Purtill
