Obituary of Christine A. Woika

Batavia ~ Christine A. Woika, age 41, of Elm Street, formerly of LeRoy, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday (January 29, 2015). She was born June 25, 1973 in Batavia, a daughter of Larry and Charlotte Sherman Brownell. Christine will be remembered as a loving person, who cherished her children and grandson. She had a love for all animals and had often volunteered at the Animal Shelter. In addition to her parents, Larry and Charlotte Brownell of LeRoy, Christine is survived by her children, Jordan (Haileh)Brownell of Batavia, Haley Jo Woika of Batavia and Mikaylah Amy Sweet of Batavia; her grandson, Brady Anthony Brownell; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Brownell of Batavia, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Amy Lynn Chimino in 2004. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5 ~ 8 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be private. Contributions in memory of Christine may be offered to either the Genesee County Animal Shelter or the City Church of Batavia.
