Obituary of Wayne E. Cheeseman

LeRoy ~ Wayne Cheeseman, age 86, formerly of South Street Road, passed away Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 2, 2015) at the New York State Veterans Home in Batavia.
Mr. Cheeseman was born March 3, 1929 in Batavia, a son of the late Charles and Gladys Davis Cheeseman.
He was a man truly dedicated to his family and put their needs first. He was a disabled veteran, having served with the U.S. Army. He was also very good with his hands and thoroughly enjoyed wood working and working on projects and upkeep around his home.
He is survived by his children, Linda (Paul) Forti of LeRoy, David Cheeseman of Rochester, Daniel (Michele) Cheeseman of Webster and Mark Cheeseman of Buffalo; 6 grandchidren, Michael (Breanne) Forti, Matthew Forti, Brandon Cheeseman, Gabrielle Cheeseman, Owen Cheeseman and Aidan Cheeseman; 3 great-grandchldren, Ava, Weston and Emerson; his sister, Virginia (Robert) Anchor of Stafford, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Joan Michel Cheeseman on March 26, 2015.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3 ~ 5 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), where services will be held at 5:00 PM. Graveside Services in St. Francis Cemetery will be Monday morning at 11:00 AM.
Memorials are suggested to either the American Legion, 53 W. Main St., LeRoy or the NYS Veterans Home, 220 Richmond Ave., Batavia.
