Obituary of Sergio A. Forte Sr.

LeRoy ~ Sergio A. Forte Sr., age 73, of Cole Road, passed away Friday morning (December 30, 2016) at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born May 20, 1943 in Asiago, Italy, a son of the late Dominic and Marina Costa Forte. He will be remembered by his family as a very loving father and grandfather. He was the owner of Advanced Marble and Granite. He was a member of jug city snow goers. He enjoyed ATV drag racing with his sons. He had a love for sports, especially football. He was also a very hard working talented carpenter and marble and granite fabricator, working for Local 85 out of Rochester. Sergio is survived by his children; Sergio (Melissa Wray) Forte Jr. of LeRoy, Gregory (Samantha) Forte of LeRoy, Daniel Forte of LeRoy, Angela (Juan) Santiago of Batavia and Christine Forte of Batavia; grandchildren, Sara Jo Forte, Sergio (Carrie) Forte III, Lola Forte, Kristin Forte, Savannah (Jacob) Kernodle, Timmy Taylor, Dominic Taylor, Julius Santiago, Armani Santiago, Ellianna Santiago and Gianna Forte; 6 great-grandchildren and the mother of his 5 children, Margaret. Family and friends may call on Saturday, January 7, from 1 ~ 4 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where a Celebration of Sergio's Life will be held at 4:00 P.M.
