I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Wentland. As both a long-time staff member at Fisher, and a student in his Human Genetics class, I remember him well. He was a very intelligent man, who also had an excellent sense of humor. As he scrolled through the many illustrations he drew during his classes, he would intersperse his lectures with a mix of dry humor and real-life events to make the massive amounts of information easier to digest. I truly enjoyed what many considered to be their most difficult class.
I have no doubt that he is well-remembered by many of his former students. I hope that this will bring you comfort during this time of loss.
