Batavia ~ Fannie J. Dutch, age 95, passed away Thursday afternoon (August 3, 2017) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home in the loving presence of her family.
She was born February 11, 1922 in Batavia, a daughter of the late John and Isabella Ranello Rosica.
Mrs. Dutch was a former member of St. Anthony's Church and worked for many Batavia businesses including Montgomery Wards, Sleight's Bookstore and Adam Miller's Toy Store.
She is survived by her devoted nephew and his wife, Joseph (Beverly) Henning of Batavia; her God daughter, Melissa (Jason) Coniber of LeRoy, cousin, Thomas (Rose) Rosica of Batavia, along with many additional nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew W. Dutch, her brother, Patrick Mannella and her sisters, Jennie (Dominick) Defilippo, Mary (Victor) Bonito and Catherine (Thomas) Marchese.
Family and friends are invited to her Rite of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, August 12 at 11:00 A.M. at Resurrection Parish, St. Joseph's Church, 303 E. Main St., Batavia. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Golisano Children's Hospital, 150 Crittenden Blvd., Rochester, NY 14642 or to Resurrection Parish in the form of mass cards.
