Obituary of Alice C. Brooks

Pavilion ~ Alice C. Brooks, age 96, of Big Tree Road, passed away Sunday evening (February 11, 2018) at home in the loving presence of her family.

     She was born July 11, 1921 in Leicester, a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Turner Rudgers.

     Mrs. Brooks will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who was an avid gardener.  She was retired from the Pavilion Central School, where she was a secretary for many years.

     She is survived by her children, Steven (Deborah) Brooks of Pavilion and Sandy (Russ) Hopfer of Pavilion; her grandchildren, Dean (Jennifer) Brooks of Stafford, Adam Brooks of Pavilion, Katie (Whitty) Stephens of NC and Kyle Hopfer of Pavilion; great-grandchildren, Mickayla Brooks and Spencer Brooks, along with many nieces and nephews.

     She was predeceased by her husband, Spencer Brooks in 2008, as well as 4 siblings.

     Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Pavilion Fire Department.
