Obituary of Alfred H. Andrews

LeRoy ~ Alfred H. Andrews, age 78, of East Main Street, passed away Sunday evening (March 18, 2018) at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester.

     He was born September 5, 1939 in Geneva, NY, a son of the late Arthur and Frances Watson Andrews.

     Alfred was a loving dad and grandfather, who enjoyed story telling.  He was an avid reader and loved to hand carve wooden fowl decoys.  One of his biggest passions was spending time with and walking his canine companion, Finn.

     He is survived by his children, John (Lucy) Franklin of Atlanta, GA, Christine (Richard) Howe of LeRoy and Maura (James Perl) of Pembroke; grandchildren, Kaden Vangalio, Macie Howe, Claire Howe, Asher Perl and Quinn Perl; his sister, Sharon Ellington of Rochester, along with many nieces and nephews.

     At his request, services will be private at the family's convenience.

     In lieu of flowes, memorials are suggested to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626.
