Obituary of Betty Jane Michatek

LeRoy ~ Betty Jane Michatek, age 94, formerly of West Main Street, passed away Tuesday evening (December 18, 2018) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

     She was born January 17, 1924 in Geneseo, a daughter of the late John and Florence Burger Forsythe.

     Betty will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who enjoyed gardening and sewing.

     She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline (Larry) Dipzinski of Macedon and Amy (Charlie) Hayward of LeRoy; grandchildren, Ryan Hayward, Charlie Hayward, Connor Hayward, Bobby Jackson, Stephen (Amanda) Jackson, Brendan Dipzinski and Dustin Dipzinski; great-grandson, Stephen Jackson; siblings, Richard (Barbara) Forsythe of Cowlesville, Florence "Tody" (late Calvin) King of Rochester and Rosemary (late Eddie) D'Amico of Rochester, along with many nieces and nephews.

     She was also predeceased by her husband, Stephen Michatek in 1996, infant daughter and seven siblings.

     Family and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, Dec. 29 at 12:00 P.M., which will be followed by an opportunity to visit with Betty's family from 12:30 ~ 2:00 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Interment in Machpelah Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
