Obituary of Mary Ann Bennett

Mary Ann (Palmer) Bennett passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on October 10, 2018 in Eagle, Colorado.

     Mary was born on May 30, 1949 in Rochester NY, the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Palmer of Stafford, NY.  

     She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Bennett of Gypsum, Colorado, whom she met in 1974 and married in 1986.  Mary is also survived by her sister, Anna Edington, her daughter, Elizabeth (Tim) Andrews,  step-daughter, Kathy (Don) Park, step-son, Robert (Darcy) Bennett Jr., sisters-in-law, Kathy Bennett, Julie Rathburn, brothers-n-law, Roy and Willard Bennett and her grandchildren, Mary Beth, Timothy and Christopher Andrews of Colorado, Amanda (Cameron) Erskine, Sam (Angela) Becker of Rochester, Matthew Becker of CA, Jonathan Becker of Arizona, Trisha, Zachary, and Harley Park of Pavilion, NY, Savannah, Brooke and Mackenzie of Leicester, NY, and 3 great-grandchildren, Jayden, Aliyah and Wyatt, as well as many nieces and nephews.

     She is predeceased by both of her parents, as well as her son, Herbert Becker, her sister, Clara Barth, her brother, Thomas Palmer and nephew, James Bennett (Jimbo). 

     Mary enjoyed being a stay at home mom, caring for her children and her mother for many years.  She loved to do all sorts of crafts, crocheting, gardening, fishing, camping, swimming, etc., but most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.

     Friends may call on Thursday, May 23 from 2 ~ 6 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd, LeRoy, where her Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 24 at 10:00 A.M.  Interment will immediately follow in the Stafford Rural Cemetery.  A reception will immediately follow visitation at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday at the LeRoy Moose Family Center.
