Obituary of James P. Ward

LeRoy ~ James P. Ward, age 76, of Vallance Road, passed away early Friday morning (August 30, 2019) at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Batavia.

     He was born April 6, 1943 in Rochester, N.Y., a son of the late Peter and MaryLou Tuite Ward.

     Jim was best known for his love of Country Music, often playing guitar and singing for public and private events.  He was a member of the LeRoy Moose and a former member of the Rochester Entertainer's Club.

     He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Lawrence) Dun of Batavia and son, Timothy (Jackie) Miller of Erie, PA; granddaughters, Amy Dun and Emily Dun; siblings, Pat Carr, Peg Mewissen, Michael Ward and Sharon Aine, along with many nieces and nephews.

     He was predeceased by his wife, Constance Kirchgessner Ward and brother, John Ward.

     Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 14 from 2 ~ 6 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Interment in Machpelah Cemetery will be private.
