Steff was a friend of mine - and a colleague. I worked with him at Lapp Insulator and Illbruck. He was very special to me. We lost touch over the years but I always thought of him as a very kind, dedicated, loyal, tough, special man. I literally just found out about his passing - now 3 months later.
Steff was special - very special. I'm truly saddened by his passing.
To his family - know this. Steff holds a very special place in my heart as one of the most influential guys I've ever worked with. I'm truly sorry for your loss - but also want you to know that you should hold your head high for him being in your life.
