Obituary of Frank D. Pierce

Florida / LeRoy ~ Frank D. Pierce, age 88, of Port Charlotte and Gully Road, passed away Sunday evening (June 5, 2022) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

     He was born November 18, 1933 in Rochester, a son of the late Frank and Jessie Gates Pierce.

     Frank will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and dear friend to many. He was a U S Army veteran and a long time junior high science teacher in the Wayne Central School District.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Jane Lumley Stein-Pierce; his children, Holly Kelleher of Walworth and Scott (Jill) Pierce of Ontario; grandchildren, Brianna (Jeffrey) DiPasquale, Alicia Kelleher, Shannon Kelleher, Jackson Pierce and Katherine Pierce; great-grandson, Nolan DiPasquale, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife of 50 years, Justine E. Pierce and his four siblings.

     Family and friends are invited to Frank’s Celebration of Life Service to be held on Sunday, June 12 at 2:00 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Frank are suggested to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 14344 Jamison Way, Port Charlotte, FL  33953
