My thoughts and prayers go out to Billy's family. I have several great memories of Bill from my youth when he use to frequent Sam & Sandy's Tavern. Loved his laugh, wit and he was just a good man. RIP Billy!

Big and burly with a hardy laugh, Billy was always the center of the party, and boy could that man party! His strange and downright raunchy jokes, always made me laugh because he was all talk and had just about the biggest heart around. He was equally kind and generous and l never heard him ever say a bad word about anyone. In his day he could load 55 gallon barrels of oil with his bare arms. We lost one of the good guys yesterday, but he will live large in our great memories of him. Cheryl Oberlin Wellman
