LeRoy ~ Marv Roblee, age 76, of Linwood Road, passed away Sunday afternoon (Oct. 16, 2022) at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 12, 1946 in Buffalo, a son of the late A. Nelson and Ada Harrison Roblee.
Marv will be remembered as loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. His love of family and community was evident as you could always find him in the stands cheering on his girls or coaching youth football, baseball and softball. He was a proud US Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and Northwoods Sportsman Club. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved the outdoors.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharron Uberty Roblee; son, David (Bridget) Uberty; daughter, Kimberlee (Daniel) Mackey; his 5 beautiful granddaughters, Courtney (Eric) Hyde, Allison Uberty, Emma-Kate Uberty, Jamie (Spencer) Thomas and Lily Uberty; step-grandchildren, Dylan and Peyton Mackey; sister, Judy Roblee, Barbara (Thomas) Gillen, Yvonne (Michael) Moore; sisters-in-law, Diana Roblee, Suzanne Roblee and Charlotte Uberty; brother-in-law, Robert (Pat) Uberty; dear friend, Duncan MacKenzie, along with many loving nieces, nephews and grand-fur babies.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Violet and Joseph Uberty; his brothers, Larry and Darrell Roblee; sisters, Janice Roblee, Annette (Richard) Nelan and Sharon (Sam) Nuciola; brother-in-law, Ronald Uberty and sister-in-law, Sandy Uberty.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, Oct. 23 from 2 ~ 5 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy. Graveside prayers and military honors will be held on Monday, Oct. 24 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to either the LeRoy American Legion or LeRoy Ambulance Service.
